At the time of this document, the following are requirements for installation of Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC: 64-bit pSeries or RS/6000 hardware Server systems with a minimum of 1 GB RAM. Two or more CPUs are recommended, plus 7 GB disk space for Symantec and Oracle installation. 2-4 cluster nodes A minimum of two Ethernet connections are required for the RAC/cluster interconnect; three are recommended. SAN-attached storage must support SCSI-3 Persistent Reservations.
